Toronto – Grammy Nominated, multiple JUNO award winner Feist picks up her first Polaris win. The 2012 Gala held for the last time at Toronto’s Masonic Temple, was filled beyond capacity. Many in attendance thought in advance of the program that Kathleen Edwards would take the evenings award, while others seemed put off by Drake and his failure to appear. Polaris Prize shortlisted artist Cold Specks may not have won last nights award but did win over a new audience with a stunning performance. In the end the award went to Feist for her release Metals.
